After ending their deal with Spotify, the Obamas will take their podcasts to Audible.

-owned Audible on Tuesday announced a multi-year global deal with Higher Ground, the production company founded by Barack and Michelle Obama. Financial terms were not announced.

at the end of October, when their current deal expires. Spotify has distributed Higher Ground’s podcasts since 2019.

Higher Ground produces podcasts such as “The Michelle Obama Podcast”; “Renegades: Born in the USA,” featuring conversations between Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen; and “The Big Hit Show,” an audio documentary series hosted by Alex Pappademas.

Higher Ground’s film and television arm has a multi-year deal with Netflix
and its “American Factory” documentary in 2019 won both Emmy and Oscar awards.
